Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves.

A new limited six-issue series is being finished and would be ready to release the first issue on October 15. The name says it all: Superman and Batman VS. Vampires and Werewolves. The story is written by Kevin VanHook, and Tom Mandrake is doing the cover and the art for the series.

When a body falls from a rooftop, Batman goes to investigate the strange success probably related with supernatural events. Later on he meets with a strange creature, a vampire named Marius Dimeter. But Superman fails to show up in this issue and fight these creatures with Wonder Woman taking his place. Things would get tense in Gotham City and I’m just guessing that it won’t stay in Gotham City for too long.

It sounds really cool. We’ll finally get to see this kind of mystery-supernatural type of story involving The Dark Knight and The Man of steel. Now I don’t know the purpose of putting Superman in a storyline about Vampires and Werewolves, it’s clearly not the Superman-like type of series. I’d rather to see Batman facing creatures like that kind of beasts. But looks like this one is going to work, plus I just checked the art and it looks really creative, and Batsy and Supes are gonna have a hard time kicking these guy’s butts.
