I’ve been wondering, just curiosity, what would be the next big step in comics. At the beginning all comics were published in black and white but with the progress of the comic industry they started publishing comics in colors. That was a big, huge, deal back then. Thousands more were attracted to this form of art due to the beautiful and well done illustrations and now in colors. Then the art improved every year, more and more, and awesome artists created the most visionaries styles. Another big thing was the introduction of better and more interesting characters like Daredevil and Spiderman. But when the industry was going through hard times the most talented writers created superheroes teams that brought the stories of the most famous characters of all times helping each other and creating powerful alliances. The digitalization of comics then came out as another big step to help comics become more popular between the readers. This new style was also a big deal and attracted more and more readers interested in the perfectly defined lines and bright and sharp colors.

So I was wondering what would be the next big thing for comics. Would it be the 3D effect that has already appeared in some special publications? Is a good guess I think. Imagine that in 20 years people will look at comics today like the “yesterday” style. But what would be the “tomorrow” one?
